Is this your first pregnancy? Because that sounds very normal, as the previous poster said. It took 9 months for your body to stretch out, and it's going to take some time to go back... but it will never, ever feel like it used to. My hips were definitely wider, and my tummy softer after my son, and that never changed. You could wait and see how your body changes in a few months, or just go ahead and buy some new clothes for your post-baby body It's totally normal.

Hi! I am currently five months pregnant, and a VBAC is my goal! I will let you know how it goes. My doctor is not concerned about the sleeve impacting my chances- it's more reliant on baby size, and if I go past 41 weeks. I am super hopeful that I can have a successful VBAC.

Thank you everyone! This is an AWESOME thing, and I am very happy about it I will definitely be talking to my doc, it just kind of hit me after the initial excitement that I have a few things to make sure happen in order to have a healthy pregnancy, and of course they aren't in because it's a holiday.

Does anyone have any good advice for how to navigate this? Proper nutrition? Is it okay if I lose weight as long as I am taking Vitamins and monitoring baby growth? I know my surgeon will probably be unhappy- and I dread telling my parents who might think I "wasted" my surgery. It still doesn't feel real- this would be our second baby. Any advice?
