I had my sleeve done through Kaiser Permanents and they don't do lapbands anymore because of the complications their patients have had. Your body is eventually going to reject any foreign material you put in it and I personally don't want to have surgery twice. You're not a failure. You're a very strong person for being able to recognize you weren't ready.
