    Looking for convenient protein foods

I agree with all the foods listed above. I found a to-go cup of hummus and pretzels thins helpful. I do eat the pretzel thins (or a few I should say) but use them to scoop a ton of hummus up at a time. I've been doing eggs salad and tuna salad a lot. I found a low calorie, high Protein wrap (9grams) I've been using - I only eat about 1/4 of a wrap, but it is good. Greek yogurt and beef jerky are my current go tos.

    Discouraged-Thyroids suck!

I have hypothyroid issues as well. Just got sleeved February of this year. Down 31 lbs since surgery (had a lower BMI than most), 41 lbs total. I still have 25 lbs to go. I feel like my weight loss is getting slowed down.

Lower BMI Peeps out there please HELP!

I weighed 190 the day of surgery. I'm 3 months out and weigh 159. My goal is 125 (I'm 5'3). So far - it has been a wonderful decision.

    What are you eating?

I'm 3 months out. I usually have coffee 1st thing in morning (using cashew milk for creamer) and either a sausage patty (1/2) or Protein shake for breakfast. cheese stick, hummus, or turkey pepperoni has morning snack. Usually egg, chicken, or tuna salad for lunch. Afternoon snack is usually cucumbers, yogurt (I've been weird about yogurt lately), cottage cheese, or maybe 1/4 of banana. dinner varies. Could be Protein Shake, Soup, meat (lunch meat, beef Jerky, fish tilapia, chicken).

    Dehydration Question

See if you can change the temperature of your water. I struggle with super iced cold water, but do great with room temperatures. Also consider using a straw (controversial I know). I do best when sipping from a straw.

    Feeling Heart broken and defeated

I'd definitely suggest talking with your surgeon. I was slow BMI starting out (200 pre surgery diet, 190 day of surgery) and am 3 months out and currently weigh 163. It's been slow, but steady. I'm aiming for 125 (I'm short!) so still have some ways to go. How tall are you? Are you following your surgeons plan?

    What do you say?

My husband only knows. I've kept it from all my other family, who I see at least 1x a week, and my co workers. They notice I'm losing weight which they praise. They notice I eat healthy which they think is why I'm losing weight. I've had people say "you aren't eating very much" and I say "trying to lose this weight" and they drop it. So far, no one has suspected a thing. And for not drinking while eating, I always order a Water and sip on it until my food gets there. By that time, 1/2 of it is gone and they don't even notice I'm not drinking it while eating.
