researchingcrazy replied to defibvt's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I am actually here in Mexico now, and I am scheduled for surgery today with Dr. Elias Ortiz. Super excited but of course nervous. I choose a lighter me and Dr. Ortiz after months of research and talking to patients on different sites. He has a great reputation as does the whole program at a lighter me. Good luck with your research and if you would like any questions answered from experience... After tomorrow I will be able to assist! -

What took you to Mexico?

I am the processing of making my Dr selection in Mexico. I am between Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Elias Ortiz. One through beliteweight and one through a alighterme. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated to help make this choice. With one you stay in the hospital the whole 3 nights and one you stay part in the hospital and part in a local hotel. The cost difference is about 2000 dollars, however, both surgeons are accredited and have wonderful reviews... They both have dates open for January... and I am ready to make this choice. I have been researching since I was denied by my insurance, as the surgery is an exclusion in my policy back in August of this year... any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
