I'm 5 days post op, I've lost 6 lbs, and 30 before surgery so 36 total

Hang in there you got this, but if it's having such negitive effects may you could call the on call and see if you can add an egg or something. Mine allowed for one egg one cheese stick a day and if it was having bad effects on my body they would allow for two of each in a day. It's day 5 post op and I no longer need pain meds slept like a dream, not so much gas feeling really good, and on my way to a new healthy me. So hang tight you won't reregret it ????

Avhick maybe you have a stomach bug or something, that doesn't sound normal. I've been on all liquids for 3 weeks now and never felt all that. Are you diabetic? What does your liquid diet consist of?

Dissolvable gas-x strips and walking
-
Very well said, we have definitely been living half in, and are well on our way to being all in! I will keep you posted for sure, the gas x strips did help a lot this morning not so much this evening. I had a hiatal hernia repair at the same time so a lot of discomfort in my chest. But I'm looking forward tomorrow being better than today! And thanks for the kind words ????

You can have the juice from chicken noodle soup as well and it's really comforting on your tummy, I'm 3days out and so far that has been the easiest thing to tolerate. Also veggie brooth is very good

Yes Mariah the gas is terrible, absolutely the worst part everything else is bareable. I was very surprised how hard it is to drink. But it's getting easier everyday
-
I also went back and forth with rather I was gonna go threw with it, cried a lot for two days prior to surgery, but I didn't come this far and work this hard to back out, I knew I had to go threw with it, I needed to assure a healthy future for myself and I'm glad I went threw with it

Hi my name is Jennifer I had the sleeve on Tuesday the 23rd. I've done pretty good I think. Have some pretty bad gas, done a lot of walking. It's uncomfortable to drink. But I'm managing to get it done. Had some nausea the first and second night home but none since.
