Where did you get tea with that much protein?
-
I would pick going to get my nails done out of those three options. It is fun and makes you feel good when thay are done

@@brokenangel84 in regards to you feeling like you are eating too much, just listen to your body and if there are no repercussions to eating 6 bites then you are ok and for your 50 pound celebration you should treat yourself to an activity that isn't food. I think one thing about this surgery is that it changes you physically but not mentally, that is something you have to do yourself. I know before surgery I would always celebrate with sweets or my favorite foods but when I lost my first 50lbs I went to high rise which is like an indoor gymnast playground with trampolines and it was very very fun and rewarding.

@@brokenangel84 if you are being cautious with your foods, then there is nothing wrong with it.
-
Eh don't worry about what everyone else says. They don't know the whole story and you deserve to have some fruit.

Hey Stephie76 have you already had surgery?
-
Thank you for sharing your story @@brokenangel84

So @@brokenangel84 I have been thinking and I am curious to hear your weight loss journey so far. Like what lead you to this path and how are you feeling about the outcome so far. Of course if you don't wish to share your story, I completely understand. I just thought I would ask and the same goes for any of the other women on here. I'd love to hear about your personal journey

I love yoga. It makes you more flexible and makes you feel good
-
I have done yoga before but I don't do it currently
-
It's ok. My phone isn't very good at telling me right when people reply either. Oh and are you feeling better?
-
Are you able to get that much protein in? I don't think I've ever been able to get that much in.
-
I don't remember the exact calorie amount but I do remember that he wanted me to be taking in around 40-60 grams of protein per day.
-
I hear ya. I hope you get to feeling better soon
-
What are you wanting to take? I'm pretty sure you can take an alkaseltzer night time. I did, however I would still recommend asking your doctor before taking anything.
-
Yup. I used to be a water chugger and I definitely can't do that anymore
-
Yes I have felt the chest pain if you eat/drink too fast. I still experience that, I'm not sure if it ever goes away. The pain is less intense now though so it definitely gets better with time.
-
I would just keep pushing through it and try to get in as much protein as possible. In some sense you have to push yourself a little bit because it is part of the healing process but just remember not to push yourself too much. I remember when I got on soft foods I would take two bites of yogurt and be full and content for the whole day. I would just continue to try your best but don't make yourself miserable.

That sounds really fun! I have only been horse back riding a few times but I would love to go again
-
That's great. I have found that different herbal teas help me when I feel like I have a headache or when I am feeling sluggish. What are your pick-me-ups?
-
Well I hope you get to feeling better.

@@brokenangel84 I am having a good morning. How are you today? I wish my notifications would actually tell me on time so that I can reply faster but I don't know if I can change that.
-
I try to not believe everything I see and sometimes it's hard to know what is true or not.
-
I take all of my pills together in the morning. And my surgeon/doctor said that it was ok to take them together but he did say you should try to take them after you have eaten a little something so they don't make you sick
