Well as soon as i got the insurance out of the way i planned my operation on 30th of January. I went to the hospital alone and if I still remember I was in the operation room by 12 afternoon. OK so for the first six hours were something which I really do not want to share. The pain was excruciating and I remember asking for more pain meds to get it down to a comfortable level. However by evening 7pm i was gaininig my senses and started walking as it is very important to get the gas out of the system. Walk, walk and walk if you want to feel more comfortable. I only vomited slightly only once and that was only due to the water sip which i took right before talking to the doc. From the day of the surgery till now I have never vomited. The next day I was discharged and yes I felt weak but healthy enough to walk un assisted. So the 5 small cuts got healed in 7 days. First one week was complete clear fluid and after words i started blending the hell out of everything. I took ENSURE protein powder milkshake from the second week and I am still taking it plus another multivitamin tablet which I suppose is important and I am thinking to continue as much as I can. I did feel some pain on the cuts but once the cuts gots healed I had no pain at all. What happened inside me, well I can really do not feel a difference. As of now i eat everything however as soon as my stomach feels full i stop immediately. Yes i do feel some dizziness only when i stand up and i am sure this will fade away with time as I am only 2.5 months post-op.
