It's going pretty good. I don't even crave as much sugar as I did before. Probably because I knew how much it had news me up in the past! Good luck as well!

    Sugar Addiction

Hello, I had the sleeve in 2014 and lost 60 pounds. I have a HORRIBLE SUGAR ADDICTION and was diagnosed with diabetes at 26. To help with my diabetes I got the sleeve which I thought initially would work but ended up failing. In my opinion the sleeve is mainly for ppl who over eat but it doesn't help with cravings. I gained 30 pounds of the 60 I lost and went to get resleeved a couple of months ago. Try your best to fight the craving because u will notice that just about all desserts will fit in your little pouch.

    Weight gaining after sleeve?

It's fairly easy to gain, you can always eat slider foods that don't really get you full but just taste so darn good. It really hard if you are addicted to sweets...just about everything will fit in your stomach without you getting too full Sent from my SM-N910T3 using the BariatricPal App
  13. My doctor told me that my pre op diet must only consist of meat, cheese, and veggies only. As I look through the forums I see that a lot of people did the liquid diet. Has anyone else experienced a pre op food diet?
  14. I ALWAYS have sugar cravings. It's the one thing I battle the most. What type of sugar? Have you tried sugar free candy etc.

I just have to remember that this is not 100% sure cure of diabetes. .. and the people I know of who had the surgery and the diabetes were cured, they lost 100+ pounds and I'd in their normal bmi
