Required 3 years of medical records
jersey_girl_86 replied to darby0375's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My PCP doctor had to write a date and weight from 2011,2012, and 2013. I was pregnant most of 2012 and I am hoping that doesn't cause any issues. -

Congrats!!! I am so happy for you. everything works on Gods clock!!! I haven't had my surgery yet but After I had my daughter (7 years ago) they told me I would never have more children. It would be 1 in a million that I would be able to conceive. I went crazy trying everything, ( looking back I feel so bad for my husband having to deal with me ) I finally gave up and left it in Gods hands and 3.5 years later I had my son and 2 years after that I had my third child. -
I can't wait to get rid of all my plus size clothing. I already found a place to donate my dressy stuff for women who need clothes for interviews and starting in the workforce! I also found a Muslim women's shelter to donate all my plus size islamic clothing!!! I can't wait!!!

I'm a Girl Scout troop leader and took my troop to Six Flags this past summer. When we got off one of the roller coasters we went to look at the photos that they take as we walked up some teenagers were making fun of the fat Muslim lady (me) that was really one of my wake up calls. -
Openness and Family

I have only told my mother. My husband doesn't even know, he knows I am having surgery in April or May on my stomach but assumes it's for my ulcers. I haven't lied I just don't go into details. I don't have anyone in my family or friends that would be supportive except my mother bc she went threw the same struggles and had gastric bypass 14 years ago. -

Anyone from South Jersey (Atlantic County area)

I really love Dr medvetz and Malinda. Malinda has been so kind I feel has gone above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and helping me with the horrible process of insurance approval. Dr medvetz was recommended to me. My mother is the director of nursing at a hospital in north jersey and she asked a lot of doctors there who is good and who they would want their family to go to and they told her Lisa. So that's why I drive 1.5 hours to her! -
Hello ladies, I am very nervous for this surgery. I have had gallbladder surgery and 2 C sections so I wanted to know is it worse then the c sections, better, or pretty much the same in the pain and recovery time.

To be honest my husband doesn't even know, the only one that knows is my mother. My husband knows I will be having surgery on my stomach in a couple months, that's it bc he would not be supportive and I don't need negativity. I have 2 ulcers so he thinks it's for that. I have never lied about it I just haven't gone into detail. And I would never tell my friends or other family bc they wouldn't understand. -

jersey_girl_86 replied to Momma_D's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
For example I need to loose about 120lbs but I don't look it. I feel every single one of those lbs in my knees and back. So I wouldn't judge anyone bc you never know what someone is going threw or story is. -
