If you have not called your doctor yet, and you feel as if you would rather wait (it is not an emergency) then PLEASE call your doctor tomorrow! Better safe than sorry, OK? If it gets worse, CALL doctor or go to urgent cre or ER, please!

I was sleeved 9 days ago. today was feeling really gassy/heartburn-ey and now I have the hiccups! any suggestions??? This is really uncomfy.

Thanks everyone! I thinkk it happens when I eat too much. I am still trying to figure all of this out....the hardest thing is no Water with food...and of course I am still on liquids. Apparently my body is not fond of dairy...I seem to be having issues witha ny dairy products. :/ It is weird what my body will tolerate and what it won't. :/

Had a BM today...not a fun experience...gas is slowly going...thanks every one. I'll be sure to talk to doctor tomorrow.

You might try going to an overeaters ananymous meeting. You might find a support system there. I am appalled at the insensitivity of your family. You deserve good things sweetie. Try to do this one day at a time, make the best choices you can, and don't beat yourself up.

OMG!!! I would hate that! I had a colonsocopy a couple of years ago and got sleeved on 12-23. The prep for both is huge. I would not want to have to do that at the same time. Just my take on it. Also, I had to do a full liquid diet 10 days before the sleeve, so it really would not have worked. I could see if it was a couple of weeks apart: no biggie.

You are gonna do great! This will transform your life. I had the sleeve on 12-23. Was scared and unsure. Everything went fine. Congratulations: this is the start of a whole new you!

Actually this feels a lot like it did after childbirth (all 3 times). Loud noisy gas and sore abdomen...just worried about whether I should be pooping or not? (Not that I have put much in to poop out in the past week...)

Is that what that pain is in my abdomen? Gas? I haven't passed much gas...everything went really well, I think...just kinda sore...throat where they put in the breathing tube and abdomen. Feeling much better than I feared I would. The whole thing was so much less painful and invasive than I had feared it would be. Relieved. Now my new life starts! (I lost about 14 pounds on that prep diet of liquids. Thought I would never want to look at liquid again...but after having my last sip of Water on Monday night at 10 pm (12-22) and not able to have any liquids until this morning (12-24) @ 6am....I am grateful for liquids.feeling a bit bloated (odd) and sore...but all in all, I am a happy camper!
