Hello everyone! I'm new here and wanted to say that I'm glad to be a part of the community. I just had my gastric bypass surgery on 12/15/14 I guess my story is pretty typical, I have been overweight ever since I was about 10 years old. I have struggled with weight my whole life. I just finally decided to do something about it. It took me this long to decide to do something this drastic. I am in a wheelchair because of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. After I loose my weight I will be getting both knees replaced. I am excited to start my new journey. I'm healing well and into my second week of thin liquids, and doing ok on it. I'm too chicken to eat anything right now anyway lol. So congratulations to all of us on this journey to all of us no matter whether we have all ready done the surgery or still thinking about it. Koodos! ✌
