I had my sleeve December 10. Started dieting the day after thanksgiving and am down exactly 40 lbs as of today. Just stick to what the schedules are and you'll have a lot of success.

I was hardly able to sleep the night before. I was very excited/nervous. The most helpful thing I had was my wife just happened to have Chapstick on her, and it was a lifesaver. I was so dried out and desperate for water by the morning after the surgery, and the Chapstick was so helpful to make it through the night.

I called my doctor and he let me come in after 6 days instead of two weeks. He said it is more based on progress (ie off pain meds, walking easily) than a specific time.
