I went for my 4th fill- up to 6cc-2 days later I felt no restriction at all- I s/w the PA at my MD's office- she sied sometimes the saline disappears and I should come back for another fill- I am going on a cruise -and I can't get there sooner--I am really freaking out- Has this happened to anyone else? I will go back in to the doctors office in 3 weeks-for another fill- but am extremely upset- I can even drink water after eating-Not Happy!!!:w00t:

I live in New york- and N.J. is not convenient to stay for the conference-You have to take a bus or a subway to get into NYC- Staying in Manhattan will be worth the $$ if you have not been ther b4-public transportation is easy- Where are the seminars going to be?- try to find a hotel walking distance to there-they do have group packages if you look. -
looking for someone using my docs- I only see patients using Dr geiss- I have questions- thanks

hi- I had my surgery with Dr Holover on 7/21/08- and I am doing great- He was fabulous and so was his staff- you are in good hands- and Mercy hospital is wonderful-Good Luck- -
Hi I had lap band surgery 7/21/08 and had my first fill. I am hungry now and the scale has not moved for 2 weeks. I am exercing 5 days a week. I need some help-I read somewhere on the website that there is a jump start plan to follow- does anyone have it- I really need to jump start my weight loss again-Any advice would be appreciated- endomgr:scared2::rolleyes2:

Hi we are not alone-I lost 23 lbs- had surgery 7/21/08 and some days I am starving- I have started to exercise more and drink more water- I have a fill 9/24- and I hope that they make it tighter- Sometimes I feel unhappy but everyone tells me to keep smiling- so you do the same- let me know how you are doing- I'll tell you what happens after my next fill-

hi I stayed overnite in the hospital- Was given water in hospital went home on puree foods and protein shakes-went back to work in 10 days but really did not feel great for 2 weeks- but I sat most of the time-Its now 2 1/2 wks and my energy is back-now on mushie foods and lst nite I had fish and potatoes for dinner- its really fabulous-

hi- Had my surgery 2 weeks ago- lost 18 lbs. still a little sore but it's amazing that I am not hungry-I'm 55 and so glad aI did this- just let your body tell you- and take those pain meds if necessary-and walk walk walk and sip water constantly- you will do great

Hi I am very new to the lap band- I have my first appt with my surgeon in 2 weeks-I have investigated lap band vs bypass and really think that the band is my best option-my daughter had bypass 5 years ago and doing fab- but this one is for me I think- need to know if this really works and will I be able to have a normal life once I go on real food- looking for answers- thanks-

I have an appt with dr Holovar- I went to both practices info meetings- any thoughts on which practice is better???is everything included in the visits ex: fills and the nutritionist?? Still have not made up my mind- would appreciated any advice- thanks

hi joan- glad to meet you-I just got back from vacation and bought a book which I think is the best so far- Weight loss for dummies go buy it. It has the real story- and it makes me realize that this will be the best procedure for me-I finally have my appt next week with dr Garber and Dr Holovar- great reputation and I am still nervous- I know so many people tho have had this and are thrilled- lets keep in touch- we need support- amy -

hi I am very new to this site I have my first appt with my surgeon in 2 weeks in Long Island and am very nervous- about 60lb to loose- I am in my fifties fifties and have a daughter who did bypass-why did you decide to do the band? the md's in nyu dr fielding and dr wren have great reputatuins- good luck
