    Happy to find a forum to share my experiences and get advice and motivation. I had a rough first two days but no nausea or trouble with the gas... Just a really, really sore stomach. I'm planning to go into work tomorrow... Has anyone gone back to work after three days?

    Hi LuvnLfe, I've been pretty emotional as well... I cried my head off a few times - including while I was at the hospital. I'm off clear liquids but I'm still on full liquids like cream based soups, protein shakes, etc. Thursday and then I go on mushy foods. How are you feeling? My stomach still hurts pretty badly at the incision and port. I thought it would be a lot better by now.

    I'm in Georgia as well. I just had the lap band last Thursday. My procedure was at Northside Hospital. The nurses and staff were all very helpful...I'm sure no one will be at all judgemental if you are there alone... Don't even give it another thought. Good luck!

    Thanks for the responses. Good advice. My stomach is so sore but not so much at the incisions. I think I'm starting to get hunger pangs confused with actual pain.
