Hi everyone, It's been a while since i've lurked around here, but thought I'd drop in today. My progress has been slow,and I've plateaued the last 3 months...but I've been a bad girl..LOL I've lost a total of 85lbs. so I'm super happy about that though I wish I could lose more.. I've checked into this site to see everyones progress, and its amazing. :biggrin: You all are a great source of inspiration, just wanted you to know that..:wink2:

My port is also right below the sternum...i kinda like it there...I wont be wearing any blouses that low or revealing any more abdomen so it seems to be in a good spot. I hear others have it placed just above the bikini line... It doesnt even mess with my bra seams...

To all Thank God for this thread...I had stopped posting because I strayed from the rules and like most of you started cheating too. I'm so ashamed, but I'm a foodie...so I know it will be hard to change.. It's going to take time...I guess. It's encourageing to be able to know that I'm not alone...the holidays are tough...food is everywhere and I love to cook...so that's been quite challenging as well. Best of luck to all of you and for posting your trials and tribulations. I appreciate it.

Sheila, Glad to hear your feeling a bit better. 12lbs is great. With the other surgeries you had i'm not surprised you'll be more uncomfortable that most. Take care of yourself...I'm happy to hear your at least feeling better. See ya!

Jess, Glad to hear that you are doing so much better now and that your shoulder pain has subsided. I'm in the same boat as you with itchy incisions but otherwise I'm doing great, spend sunday doing some Xmas shopping, trying to get somewhat ready by moving around cuz I have to go back to work Monday. I've lost 11lbs too.. slowly but surely. see ya!

Hi all, just checking in... got banded yesterday and i've already lost 100 lbs! Just kidding...if I made you laugh hope your belly didn't hurt much....i just had to do it... good to see Sheila and Jesse doing well. I'm actually surprised I'm doing this good...no gas pains..except i feel like i'm carrying a bowling ball for a belly...real sore and tender.. Sipping lots of Water and broth, Jello and juice for the next two days...then on to full liquids.....walking around and feeling ok Wish everyone a speedy recovery. Take care....

I'm new to the forum..but wanted to say my date is Dec 12! I'm not on any pre-op diet..but i'm eating everything in sight....i hate that...so i've convinced myself to stop messing myself up..let see if that works...:phanvan?
