I'm going to try this too! .. Thanks .. I'm going on 6 months of being banded and have only lost 22 pounds! .. I'm walking and lifting weights and watching what I eat! .. My doctor referred me to an endocrynologist for a variety of testing. I'll get my results next week .. But I'll try your mystery weight loss drink .. Worth a try! Thanks

I'm about to be banded and am on the pre-op diet. Not doing too bad, but can't wait to have the procedure and finally get to the mushy stage. I'm just curious as to actually "how much" mushy can you actually take in at one sitting? .. The dietician at my doc's office told me and my husband that we need to get used to eating 2 tablespoons for our meals and that's it .. Is that really true? -
Thanks! .. That helps ..

I also noticed that you mentioned "sodas" in your post? .. Are you able to drink carbonated beverages without much pain? -

Hello - glad to see you had a good time ... my husband and I are having the surgery 11/28th and I'm just scared to death that we won't be able to "eat" every again! What kind of food were you actually able to eat and how small were the bites that you actually had to take? I hear that you have to chew your food until it's basically liquid in your mouth .. THEN swallow .. is it really that much of a chore to eat? -

My husband and I are both scheduled for surgery on 11/28th. I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts because I'm just afraid of not being able to eat as slowly as everyone says they have to eat .. Also - the size of the bites people have to take make me nervous .. so, what kind of food are you all able to eat and will you have to take those slow small bites for ever more? -
Hello - I'm scheduled for surgery 11/28th and am really nervous about not being able to eat once banded ... I hear of folks getting food stuck and having to go to the ER. Just how small do you really have to chew your food to get it to go through the band? How do you know when the food is stuck?
