I just hit one month post op and trying to eat soft foods, when it goes down, it feels like its having issues going into the stomach and causes a bit of a pain. Then when I burp.....its a bubbly and has food particles in it so it makes it hard to burp. My stomach is really bubbly also....everytime I eat it just gurggles like their is no tomorrow. Has anybody every had this issue? Any advice. I was told my stomach is still swollen and making it hard to eat and that to keep up the super soft food, and it clears up in 6-8 weeks after surgery. Anybody?

I HAVE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!! My surgury is on June 22nd......I am so excited.

Went to the doctor...love her. They said I just need to get one more step taken care of, and they can most likely get the surgery done before the end of the month....Im so excited....I go back next week to find out for sure. Just waiting on my PCP to get the diet paperwork back to me. Very exciting.

So an update, now Anthum Blue Cross is in a dispute with Memorial so I have been sent to another Surgon, Dr.Malgorzata Stanzcyk, MD over at St. Marys in Long Beach. I am hitting my last month of the weight loss, which honestly after me trying so hard, has been tough. My knee has been hurting from all the walking. I have lost about 15lbs and Im terrified they are gonna say no. I have sleep apena, high BP and its taking a toll on me. I meet with the new doctor this thursday, so I am hping all will go well.

It is the insurance, but I am struggling as my weight is now screwing with my knee, and I can't excersise and my wait loss had now turned into a weight gain...I wonder if that is gonna be an issue.

So I decided after many years of being overweight and health issues, I decided to get the gastric sleeve. I am so ready for the surgery. I wanna know if anybody has had any issues with Anthem/Blue Cross and part of Seaside Medical Group and getting around the 6mth diet. I have Hypertension,Severe Sleep apena and borderline diabetic. Any ideas I can present to to the Dr.'s office to see if I can get the diet waived. I am ready to do this. Anybody every had to deal with this issue. Thanks everybody!
