    Breakfast question

Nope never. Sleeved 1-19. You could probably tolerate oatmeal and cream of wheat much better. I always have a protein shake for breakfast followed by a mid morning yogurt if I get hungry. Pancakes ansD waffles will sit on your tummy like a lead brick!
  4. I love them! I use the b-12 nasal and the dissolving multi and calcium! ????

  6. Take care and feel better soon. Sounds like nasty bacteria is getting you down. Protein shakes and fluids. Go back to basics and make yourself sip sip sip

Totally normal. I had the same thing
  8. Ice tried the bariatric advantage chews but prefer Bariactive tablets that dissolve. Much better imo.
  9. I'm 6 weeks post op and just tried Chike coffee protein powder last week. Blend it with ice and ff milk. Just like a frappé oh my goodness! 20 grams of protein. It does have caffeine though. My sleeve Is totally ok with it! I have 1 every other day for my morning protein. I love it!
  10. Ok so I've stayed away from coffee even though my surgeon allows it. Just didn't taste the same as pre-surgery. Ordered the Chike coffee after a recommendation and made an iced coffee this morning and oh my goodness -yummy ????. I've been using Unjury and Jay Robb protein powder. This is very yummy too!
  11. I ordered mine from Chike.com. You can also get sample packs up try first. It's very good. But does have caffeine.
  12. No soda or carbonation. I dont plan on going back at all. No more diet coke for me!!!

    Time off post op

2 weeks and I have a desk job.
  14. I was 4 weeks out on Monday the 16th. Because I was lucky enough to not have any nausea or vomitting post-op, my surgeon moved me to soft/mushy foods 2 weeks out. This week I can try "normal foods." However, I'm kind of staying the same. I usually ave 1-2 Protein shakes a day depending on my protein intake. eggs still don't go down too well. I can do tuna, shredded pork, chicken, shrimp. I do lots of cottage cheese, yogurt, cheese sticks, babybell cheese, etc. Shredded lunch meat. I've only tried soft cooked vegetables like carrots and green Beans in soup/stew. Oyster crackers in soup do Ok, just for adding a little salt. Applesauce and soft fruits in their own juice. Blueberries are Ok. I do SF popsicles occasionally and have had 1 SF healthy choice fudge pop. That's about it. I can do cream of wheat and oatmeal, however they make me crave so I think it's too many carbs for me to have.

    Urinary catheter

    I did not have one.
  17. Hello! This may be weird, but thought I'd throw it out there. I'm 2 weeks post op and my husband purchased my Protein powder from my surgeon's office prior to discharge. I have a sealed unopened container of vanilla unjury that I would love to trade or give away only if I have to. (Dr.'s office cannot take it back even if it's still sealed. ) Anyone interested in a protein trade?

    I don't want to eat!

It will get better. I'm 2 weeks post op and it's much easier now than the first 10 days.
  20. @@soubifan700 I had my surgery on Monday. Was disappointed when I came home and found out I cannot tolerate dairy. I suggest getting your protein shakes in with Almond milk or lactose free milk. I also purchased Unjury unflavored protein which you can mix with anything. Broth, tea, gatorade, water, etc. That may help you get your protein in. Feel Better!

    January Sleevers ❄️

I was sleeved on Monday. I'm on full liquids for 4 weeks. When I was making my shakes with milk I was having terrible pains the second I swallowed the smallest sip. Did not have that problem with plain water. Switched to almond milk and the pain and spasms have subsided. I think I may have issues with lactose. Been getting in about 55 oz of fluid counting my fluids from the shakes. About 60 g of protein.

  24. I was sleeved Monday morning. You'll do great! Nerves are normal. I too got scared out of my mind, praying helped a lot. Hang in there. You'll be on the other side in no rime!
