Lynziv....I have been at a stall for 6 weeks. Going to see the nutritionist next Friday. For now she told me to up my cals to 1200 and at least 48oz of water. Which is hard because I don't have an appetite, trying hard to make myself eat. Hope it pass soon, I am getting very depressed. Good Luck -

@@Big_Mama I have no idea what type of pain it is. I just know it comes in waves and when I'm not even eating. I am gonna call someone right now, because today is the 4th day. I can tolerate pain but, to be safe. -

Hope someone can help us. I go to the doctor for my 6weeks on the 12. On my 2weeks he told me to force myself. I try but I can't. I take one bite of something and I'm done. I have wasted so much food. -

Question... For the last 3 mornings. I have woke up in the middle of the nite with waves of stomach pains. Does anyone know what this is? It comes and goes. I also hear my stomach grawling. Am I not eating enough, I eat about 600 cal a day and 2 bottles of water a day. I have no appetite and force myself to drink. My 3 & 4 week haven't lost a pound. :-( I was sleeved on Dec. 30 any suggestions?????? -

@PaulaleeB...I called him today and went in for liquid test, everything was fine. I have to thin out my puree more, broth and protein shakes. I will keep you updated. Thank You!!!! -

Mamdm...I have stomach spasms on puree and some flavors of crystal light. I just try and eat slow, chew and pray it doesn't last long. ???? -

Is anyone still having stomach pain when eating? I went for my 2 weeks Monday and had to get an IV on Tuesday. I was told to eat every 2 hrs, 2 shakes and 3 bottles of water. There is no way, I have no appetite and I don't be thirsty. Can someone help me???? -

@ JennAlex...my first week was very hard, I was not hurgry nor thirsty. I had to email the nutritionist and she told me just to keep trying. I probably do not get 300 cals in a day. But, I pureed Wendy's Chili per nutritionist. It has a lot of protein buy, 2 tablespoons and I'm full. I've also had broccoli soup strained. Sorry, I don't have more to share but, 4oz protein shake, jello, soup and 24oz of water a day and I'm done. ???? -

I had surgery on the 30th and I have been on broth and soup/puree. I am gonna start soft probably around the 23 or so. I go for my 2 weeks check up on Monday.. -

My 2 week appt is Monday but my start weight was 266, day of surgery 257 and today 244... Total 22lbs lost. -

@ dianahhh...What does that mean exactly? My large incision on the right side is what's giving me trouble? Has a knot over the incision that is painful. I was told to put a heating pad on it and drink water. -

@ Karenlrn thanks. I emailed the nurse today and she said that it is normal to have the stomach spasms as my stomach is trying to adjust to food and drinks. I have to just keep trying until it goes away. It's only been a week. I will keep fighting. -

I am having the same problem with that one incision. It's the only one that hurts. I go to the doc on Jan 12. I'm gonna give it a few more days to see if it ease up. -

@sweeteyes504...Thank You! I have hundreds of different crystal lites, I will start using them today. If the pain from my right incision would not be so, painful I would be OK but, right now I am regretting this surgery. ????
