    Bruises

I just have question for everyone. I have started noticing lots of bruises on my hands, legs, knees, etc. I take my vitamins regularly and I make sure am drinking 2 liters of water everyday and i get all my protein. Last lab work was normal. I dont go back for next dr visit til last of april. Im right on track with my weight loss so maybe just being paranoid. Wasn't sure if this is something that I should expect or something I should worry about.

    North Dakota

I'm in SD. Just outside the badlands. I had my surgery on 11/24/14.
  3. Thanks! I did really good. I picked a few tiny tender pieces off turkey. ( had to taste it) when came time to eat. Had tablespoon of garlic mashed potatoes and couple of bites deviled egg. Wanted other things but stayed away. Was really hard, but didn't want to get sick. Haven't gotten sick yet and don't want to either.
  4. My starting weight: 344 07/15/2014 Surgery weight : 292. 11/24/2014 Today's weight : 259. 12/25/2014 I am like everyone else been heavy most of my life. My parents are both type 2 diabetic and so was my mother's parents. I've always kinda worried that I was going to have to take insulin like they do. So started to research options and was luck my insurance company would help me. I just wanted to share with everyone my pictures. The first one is back in September and other one was today. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.
  5. Starting weight: 344 7/15/14 Surgery weight : 292 11/24/14 Today weight: 259 12/19/14 I had my surgery on 11/24/2014 and I have been keeping active by walking and playing with our 11 month old lab puppy. I know I will have loose skin for rest of life but I really want to keep to a minimum if at all possible. We bought a total gym. But real nervous about how much to do right now.

It's been 4 days post op

I am 2 weeks post op and I was up walking as soon as they would let me out of that bed and haven't stopped. The more you move the better you will feel.
