Wow Erica what an amazing transformation! I am so happy that you were able to see past the difficult times and push forward, you are an inspiration. I second a previous poster, what workout plan did you follow? A hundred pounds in 7 months is really fast, I've been reading that it can take up to 2 years! Please share with us your secret! What did you do for your skin, do you have problems with sagging, did you use any creams? Thank you for sharing your story with us!

Life changing gastric sleeve to misery..... help
monyLiza replied to Dana Oyebanji's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
So sorry to hear that your friend went though this horrible experience but glad she is doing better. I had my sleeve done last Monday with no complications, thankfully... But the patient in the room next to me had to go back into the surgery room because of a ruptured intestine after her bypass. I don't know much about her history except that she had already had the band then the sleeve. On a good note my sister spoke with her mom and she was doing better. This is really scary even for me that already went through the surgery! I hope people that are waiting to get their sleeves don't get scared off but it is important to know the risks. Wish everyone the best on their journeys! -
@fuzzyangelbear. It went very well! I only remember getting on the op-table then waking up about two works after being in observation. I feel very well right now for the exception of the air but I'm doing my breath exercises so that's helping a lot. How are you doing???

Just started Liquid Diet before surgery
monyLiza replied to Zentastic's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I started my liquid diet on Friday..... The last day of school before the holidays and I (an electives teacher) was asked to help a building that was having a huge lunch feast for the students! The smells were amazing but surprisingly I did not get hungry, I had my tomato broth, tea and Water. It was hard saying no when offered yummy food constantly specially during the holidays! This is what I can have to eat for the three days before surgery: -
My VSG is tomorrow! I started thinking about the surgery about 7 years ago but decided to wait till after having my first child... My daughter is now 5 y/o and a month ago I finally made my mind up to go through with the surgery. I'm a bit nervous but excited none the less... I can't wait for tomorrow! Thanks to all the people that have posted their experiences, they have been of great help. Stats: HW: 260 CW: 254 H: 5' 7"
