Where can I get more information about this "pouch test"? -
I had my rny on 12/02/14. No complications perfect recuperation. I have no idea what dumping feels like. So far I have lost 35lbs including what I lost on my 3 weeks optifast diet. 3 weeks after surgery I started my pureed diet and it went really well , but I started trying all kinds of foods and would just chew really really well. Nothing makes me sick! Nothing at all, but I have stopped losing weight, haven't lost 1 lb in the past two weeks I'm getting very stressed out. I'm happy I don't get sick but I kinda wish I would so It would force me follow the diet better. I still don't eat pasta, rice, bread, and I eat very small portions but still the scale doesn't move

Hello! First of all I'd like to say that even though this is my first post, I've received a lot of advice and encouragement from many of you here so thank you! I had my laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery on December 2nd, 2014 and I'm happy to say I've had an amazing recovery! I started my journey at 5'6 weighing 265lbs at my heaviest, 256lbs on surgery date and 10 days post op am now at 240lbs ????????I stopped taking my pain meds about 4 days after surgery, I can sleep in whatever position I want, I've been trying pureed foods and have never felt nausea, haven't vomited or felt uncomfortably full. I'm feeling great....but Just a couple of hours ago I fell down the steps...only 5 steps, but I hurt my bum and my elbow, and of course I'm concerned about my insides, I just had major surgery a few days ago. I feel ok, my incisions look fine and everything seems normal but I'm still a little nervous. Will be calling my surgeons office tomorrow to see what she says. Did anyone ever go through something like this? Should I be more worried? Help. ???? -

Hi! Im from Ontario Toronto to be more specific. I had my surgery on December 2nd and had to be on optifast for 3 weeks... And the supplier only had vanilla flavoured shakes, so it was a nightmare. It was truly rough for me, I don't like milky drinks and the consistency of the shakes would make me gag and tear up every time. I was supposed to take 4 per day but sometimes only managed 3 because I hated the taste so much...but time went by and taking one day at a time helps. Just keep reminding yourself that you want your surgery to be easy and successful and that will keep you motivated. By the end of the 3 weeks I was chugging those bad boys down without thinking about it and lost 10lbs you can do it!!!
