Great I'll add you on both, we can keep in contact through messenger. I don't post about my surgery in either though. Only a few people in my family know.

The liquid diet is by far the hardest part, at least in my opinion. You won't feel the same hunger after the surgery. I lost 16 pounds on the liquid diet. So far everything is good with me, just started going to the gym to workout a little since walking outside is a little hard with the cold. Only trouble I'm having is getting all the water in. I'm hoping to get there soon lol.

I remember feeling nervous too! Have you started the liquid diet yet? I had my surgery done by doctor Holover from the NYBG, and it was done at mercy hospital. Everything went great with no complications. I hope it goes the same for you. I'm Mimi by the way

10 days before surgery - having anxiety and doubts, help!
az2590 replied to 2NewBeginningsxoxo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's totally normal to feel like that. I just had my surgery done on the 13th of this month. I had your same thoughts and doubts but I read a lot of people's testimonials and their journey and I have yet to come across someone that regrets it and they are all able to eat out(just smaller portions of course). It's only been two weeks but I feel great, I've lost that anxiety to eat. I haven't regretted it yet. Good luck!! -
I had my one week post op appointment today and the PA and my surgeon kind of scared me. They stressed the not lifting or pushing anything over 7lb. They also told me to use the elevator instead of stairs, and no walking my dogs no matter how small they are. They said basically anything that involves use of the stomach muscles because it could cause a hernia. They told me at least until they clear me for regular exercise which is in three weeks. Was anyone told any of this or are they just being extra precautious? Thanks for any input and comments.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who's cranky and cold. I'm on day 4 of 14 not hungry though luckily. I'm on a strict only liquid diet. I just feel super thirsty and almost dehydrated even with all the water I'm drinking. Anyone feel like this? Thanks!
