And eggs! I get them fresh from a neighbor for $4.00 for 18. They really are tastier! Some onion, a tablespoon of bacon bits, maybe a sprinkle of shredded cheese. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

40lbs down since 3/30. No protein issues. I do a premier protein every morning. I've had absolutely no issues eating anything - wish i did in a way. Love spaghetti squash in place of pasta but eat out alot with work. Heavy on protein first and usually don't have room for carbs. Chicken, shrimp, scallops. Fresh eggs from a local farm. It's just become the lifestyle now. Going through major therapy for back and neck damage so no exercise, so that makes it slow. Visiting a nutritionist tomorrow.

I feel you @janeaddams. The preop xrays have led me on a journey to realize reasons for my awful back pain. Broken screws, pinched nerves, rotated spine. .. working with PT and a chiropractor right now and any physical activity is currently banned. I've been infringing on friends to use their pools to at least do mild Water pt. Weight is so slow. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

???? Calling all March Sleevers....let's support each other!????
purrfctangel replied to time for june's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@Loss78 I was 233 at my highest, 225 morning of surgery and 198 as of Wed. I did figure out that i need to be eating more dense food. My menu is usually protein shakes, chili, yogurt, scallops, tuna, soup. I find that chicken, some rice, heavier foods do fill me more. I also have a nutritionist appt but not till July. -

???? Calling all March Sleevers....let's support each other!????
purrfctangel replied to time for june's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes! I lost 8lbs on the prediet and 28lbs in the 8 weeks since. I'm 1/3 of my goal but this is where i always got stuck. I can eat anything which really pisses me off. I wanted to get sick if I ate something bad. Was walking some but major back pain, just read my preop xrays last week and found at least one of the screws in my spine is broken. Going for full xrays and bone scan this week. Frustrating! I have an appointment with a nutritionist but not till July. -

I've decided to try only weighing in once a week on Wednesday. Day to day was too hard. -

I'm on the same schedule as you, Loss78. Slow and not as restrictive as i would like. -
@@Chrystee - good for you! Woo hoo!

Feel better Sunny! After my last pity party, the scale finally started moving again. I had to hit walmart and a thrift store for some stretchy shorts and skirts for work. I'm officially not buying plus size any more!

I don't see him again until July and he seems very "hands off" now that it's over. I'm going to see a nutritionist that has been recommended. It sounds crazy to talk about something this way but i wanted this to be harder and more of a deterrent.
-
I lost 25 from day of surgery on March 30. I stalled the second week for about 10 days and now I've been stalled again for 2 weeks. Nothing has ever stuck or made me sick. I can gulp liquids. I can eat anything and it's more than anyone i talk to. I still get hungry every two hours. I wanted more restriction. Lunch was 2/3rds of a beef patty, three small shrimp and some salad. I'm eating good but i really wish he'd made me smaller.
-
I could probably eat a steak if i tried to. Really disappointed that my surgeon made my stomach bigger than I'd have liked. It does restrict how much i can eat at a time so that helps but at almost 7 weeks out I'm pretty disappointed.

I didn't. Depends on who you go to. -
@@Chrystee Thanks for the morning encouragement. I haven't eaten anything bad. Was exactly 200 this am. Hope i drop past that this week. Thank you again. Encouragement helps.

I'm frustrated for opposite reasons. I really wanted eating to be hard. I can still gulp water, finish my premier protein in less than five minutes, have never once felt nauseous, can eat anything. It stays at 2-3oz if it's dense like salmon or chicken but chili is an easy 6oz. I've "stalled" again even after upping calories to 1000 per my doctor. It's been 6 weeks and I'm only down 25lbs. I walk some but my back and psiatic nerve is so painful. Per dr i am taking celebrex again occasionally. I'm just bummed because i feel like i didn't get made small enough and this isn't going to work

9 days post op and I am HUNGRY!
purrfctangel replied to wannaBthinsoon's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I can throw back any liquids. I was sleeved 3/30 and once i hit soft foods, putting something more dense in my stomach, it was much more satisfying. -

You will be more satisfied with denser foods. Acid will also mimic hunger - I started on Prilosec OTC and it helped alot. Check with your doctor. -
Just think you are carrying around 30 less pounds! When you lift that much now, you will think how did i do that? It IS easier to move!

@janeaddams. Wise words. Not having the sleeve we'd have just given up and ordered a pizza. So it keeps us from giving up. So glad to see the scale move. Tossing my 20w jeans and fitting in old 16w ones. In onederland. No regrets.
