And I'm so ready to be a loser lol I don't think I've ever been that excited to call myself a loser lol
-
Thank you so much for the welcome and great advice.. I've always been the one to skip a few details to make it a little easier, now look at me 330 pounds and rising ???? I wasn't an over weight child or adolescent, my early 20's was the onset of it all. I went from party boy at the club to a relationship that I'm still gladly in, buying a house a year after that and opening my own salon business all in 2yrs time. I started off drinking way to much and a little to much good food, then realized I didn't like drunk me so I then turned to food.. So I just transferred from one addiction to another ???? hey at least I see it right!? Thanks again for advice and yes I will keep posting here

I'm so appreciative of your information, I'm still at the very beginning of this process and haven't even met with him yet.. My appointment with him isn't until February 6th ???? I'd really love to get in sooner but he's booked.. I'm taking that as a good sign lol.. I'll have to check your guy out and see if maybe I could get in sooner.. One convenience is I could do the seminar online.. I have a busy schedule with a 4yr old son and running my small salon business.. So that was super nice to just be able to make an appointment with him.. Does your doc have online seminar? -
Congratulations

Good luck with your surgery Thursday ???? and I sure hope my doc gives me the same directions lol . The whole liquid diet thing for two and three weeks before is very intimidating ???? grant it, I know after surgery it'll be like that for a bit, but with procedure done I won't be hungry lol -

I sure hope this isn't a typical response from psych docs with this process!!!! Do you have to tell these docs what you are there for for them to give correct response? Good luck to you in getting your papers ???????? -

Curiously, what other books would you recommend? I'm still at very beginning of process and can't get into surgeon until February 6th .. So I'm in phase of gathering all info I can get my hands on.... -
My name is Jaysen and I'm at literally the very beginning of this journey. I'm not the best at punctuating and have many run on sentences so Please be kind lol... I do try my best though ???? My first meeting with a surgeon is not until February 6th.. It kinda sucks being so far out but hey it gives me more time to actually read the directions so to speak. I'm really the type that skips all the important stuff anyway, so I guess it's the universes way of slowing me down in that regard... I've got a wonderful friend who recently went through RNY and she looks amazing, a question I asked her in regard to my own process was, do I have to have 2yrs proof of my BMI being 40 or over the whole time? She was pretty certain that is the case.. So now I'm very concerned because I've not had insurance for the last 4.5 years and no doctor visits recording my weight ???? I'm 5'11 and 329lbs so I think that comes out to a 44.9 BMI.. So with that being said will they look at my severely high BMI and be like whoa dude we need to fix this , or be like well we need you to be fat for 2 consecutive years till we help ya? I know every insurance is different. My new card with id will not be here for another week or so, and I can't get answers until then ???????? I just don't want to be this way for another two years.... Anyone have BCBS in North Carolina? My plan is called Blue Local Silver 3000 The names for some of these plans are so odd lol. By the way everyone, Thanks so much for all of your shared journeys, it's really encouraging to see so many success stories and so many kind words given from complete strangers. Peace and love Jaysen of Charlotte North Carolina ✌️✌️✌️

I sure hope they don't fight me as well ... Thanks for input...

You sound great ???? I literally just read that part of the book last night... I'm a newbie and in the beginning stages of this journey. -
I know there were some revisions made with BCBS of North Carolina earlier this year so I'm not sure how current this info on the Google search was!! Paperwork should be here next week sometime!!!
