I'm day 3 of pre-op liquid, I noticed some slight irritation yesterday. I just thought it was maybe gas pain, with all that liquid moving things around. Obviously if it continues go to the doctor. As for me it's not been alarming so I'm fine not talking to a doctor. Good luck and I hope the pain subsides soon ????????

So how's everyone's pre-op liquid diet going? I'm on day 3, day 2 was very tough, but I made it. I've lost 5.8 pounds in two days... Rock On ????

I start my pre diet on Friday. I am a little afraid of the shakes and not eating. I know I can do a day or two, but for 10 days...it's going to be tough. Best of luck! GOD HELP ME LOL Well it's been 4 days and I think I've gotten through the worst of it. Day 2 was horrible. I was so hungry, but I made it through. I have found out that it's a habit of mine. Just grab something because it's there. One thing I found out is when I'm preparing food for someone else and I made a mess or had a taste of something. I would just lick my fingers. Now I wash it off my fingers. Lucky you that has ten days of shakes. I have a month. On a funny note, last night I dreamed I ate a brownie and then I realized I couldn't have them. Immediately I spit it out and threw it in the trash! Thank goodness it was only a dream! Lol! ????????I agree day two was tough.. But I made it and day 3 is in full swing with absolutely no weird hunger pangs..

So glad to hear you are on the mend!!! What has been the hardest part for you so far?

I've been adding Isopure unflavored protein to my yogurt, very surprisingly good.

Good evening to all ???? How long did everyone have to take their pain meds after surgery? I have a little one I have to take care of during the day and needed to know what I'm looking at, with being able to take my meds.

That's good to know, that I won't need after ???? it'll make it way easier to deal with my child lol... I asked for something for nausea, but was told I shouldn't need it.

They told me to do a chewable muti like flintstones for kids.. And yes I'm super excited.

I'm definitely doing the walking thing as soon as they let me, I'm so glad to know that it'll make gas pain dissipate faster!! How long did your Doc have you in hospital?

I filled mine to, and thank you for well wishes.. I definitely won't pick my kid up, and I bought a new heating pad/spa blanket type heating pad, and good idea on ice packs for incisions.. It's definitely good to know that I won't need pain meds. I know how they make you feel on an empty stomach and with not eating much after surgery, that'll be the case..

I just hear how constipated everyone gets and was thinking that the pain meds will make it worse lol
