super curious are you getting anxious?? I have been questioning if I'm doing the right thing then I keep reminding myself this long journey and now it's so close I'm just scared! Keep me posted!I'm not questioning if its right for me at all. I know that this is my second shot at having my life back and I'm full on taking charge and making this change. Yes the 2wk pre-op has been so different and tough at times, but I've survived 9 days and 12 pounds gone so far, so it's just gonna get sweeter as life moves forward. Bummer on the cream soups, I used the low sodium healthy soups which had very few calories or carbs. And I know what you mean on the jello. I've had many of those moments already myself lol... Today is day 8 for me ???? so almost there.. What about the sugar free pudding?

My first visit was in February . And unfortunately the rest of my other appointments couldn't start till march. And my surgery is may 5th. Not to bad of a wait. I'm kinda glad, as it really made me slow my roll and really study everything info wise. It was a great time for making sure this is for me. Good luck on your journey ????

I'm telling ya, I just put my frozen chocolate sugar free pudding through my Yonana's machine, and man alive it was like a Wendy's frosty. And totally guilt free and on my pre-op diet. So yummy ????

Congrats ???????? I'm on day 7 of my pre-op. The first two days were the toughest for me, but now it's smooth sailing all the way. Are you allowed to have non starchy vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower and cream of whatever soups ? If yes try the soup over fresh veggies, it's so good. And I've been freezing my sugar free chocolate pudding in ice cube trays and then running it through my Yonana's machine I bought at Walmart, and it's just like ice cream. No Lie. I also ran my protein shake through machine as well. Frozen of course. Good luck with your journey. My surgery is may 5th, see you on the losers bench.????

I use Isopure unflavored protein in water with crystal lite flavor packet. It still tastes like water, even with stuff in it.

Did you have major nerves going in?Oh a wonderful non traditional was to treat my nausea that my recovery nurse did, was put an alcohol pad on my nose, so as i could sniff it! Worked wonders!!!What did that do for you? I've never heard of something like that. But how cool though ????

Congrats on the loss, I'm down 5.8 pounds in 2 days myself.. Hopefully you'll be even more than you expect for doc. And awesomeness that you didn't cheat. I've been tempted to but have stood firm on my plan ????

BCBS of NC here and yes call everyday if you have to. I know I did. The place I use has on several occasions gone a week or two to get back to me with just simple questions, so I had to call everyday till I got an answer. It was about a total of 2weeks and I got an approval. But my Drs office had it for about a week and a half. When I called BCBS they said they try to respond within a day or two. I'd call your insurance to see if anything has been submitted yet. I'm totally glad I stayed on top of it. Good luck and Godspeed ????????????

It's amazing how you can feel your bowels being flushed of all the crud..it will only get better from here on out, and hey it's more pounds off right!!? And yes it's annoying at the same time lol
