Thank you SO much everyone!!!!!! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time!!!!

Hi all....well I'm now officially less than a week away!!!!! I'm looking for honest, even the brutally honest answers for what can I truly expect after surgery! I've read so many different things and I just want everyone's input on how they felt day one and out. I know everyone's different and that's why I'm looking for all the responses I can get! Thank you!!!

I am 3 weeks away today from my surgery date. I just have so many questions. What can I expect the first week out, should I shop now for what I'll need and can anyone give me some shopping tips and guides for shopping? I excited but so nervous at the same time. I'm so ready for this, but scared thinking about the first week to a month after the surgery. Is it normal to feel this way?!?!

Hey all my surgery is scheduled for March 23rd and it's starting to feel more real now. For those that already had surgery..... how long were you down for the count and how long until you were actually up and about doing stuff and going out and about?

Is there anyone else out there that doesn't want to tell the people that they work with about having WL surgery??? I work with a bunch of very caddy women who talk crap about each other than act like your best friend and I saw how they treated and bad mouthed another coworker about her having surgery and making comment like "she took the easy way out" etc. I don't want to tell anyone about it, but I know in time they will obviously wonder how I'm losing the weight. Any advise etc???

My dad was very diabetic and had the sleeve done and no longer even has to be on meds for his diabetes!!!
