  1. I have no pain when sitting up, walking, standing, doing household chores, showering, etc. Yet, I can't lay down in my bed or sofa to sleep. I have tried laying on my back and right side and there is a continual pain on my left side when I do so; therefore, laying on my left side is out of the question. Surgery was on 11/7/07. I had no complications and I have loss 25lbs. My beginning weight was 375lbs. I saw my physician a few days ago and he did not seem concerned, but he is not the one sleeping in a recliner and a sore tail bone. My first fill in Dec. 11th and he is going to do an x-ray before the procedure to make sure my port has remained in place. Anyone out there have a simular experience. I'm getting concerned something is not healing right. Thanks, Mom of 6 :help: Surgery date: 11/7 375lbs 11/24 350lbs.

I experience a lot of pain on my left side when I lay down in my bed, even lying on my back I experience pain. Therefore, the recliner and the fact that I am constantly sleeping in one position. Now for an update. Thanksgiving night I finnally slept in my bed, but I had to remain on my right side all night. So I guess because of my size I have a lot of healing to do. But, regardless I think this was the best decision I have ever made for myself. Thanks for the concern. Mom of 6
  3. I never thought I would become apart of a forum, but here I am. I was banded on 11/7/07. The only problem I have had with recovery is having to sleep in a recliner and my tail bone is really sore. I have no regrets and I have loss a total of 20lbs. My beginning weight was 375. My goal weight is 150lbs. I have decided to set short term goals along the way. I feel very blessed to be given this wonderful tool. I have some anxiety concerning my first fill, but as with everything else I am expecting smooth sailing. I must stay positive. Being a mom of 6 I have a lot of cheerleaders. I look forward to being a part of this forum, and any advice is welcome. Surgeon: Curtis Mosier Where: Denton, TX I'm on my way a day at a time. Mom of 6:)
