Hi! My Sleeve surgery is now scheduled for January 14th. I was hoping 9t would be the month of December 2014, as I have already met my deductible for the year with my insurance company. But I guess that is not going to happen. No sure how I will come up with the out of pocket money but am forging ahead anyway. I'll figure it out.
I'm 67 years old. Any other "older" people out there that have had the surgery and how are you doing? I'm looking forward to more energy, less arthritic pain and an easier time breathing so I can play with my grandchildren more!
I have researched and met all the criteria for the surgery because I don't feel good most of the time. I tire VERY easily, have trouble catching my breath, etc. I have sleep apnea and am hoping I can get off my Cpap machine, or even turn it down a bit! I have approximately 70 pounds to lose. That doesn't sound like much but I am 4'10" short : ) So a little weight causes big problems.
I'm currently learning how to use this website and may ask for advice, like "what is a URL" used for the blog site? I've never been on one of this type website. Still trying to figure it out.
Well, hope to find some buddies to go through this with. Merry Christmas and blessings!
