Revision from sleeve to bypass
lljenkins replied to lions92's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I had sleeve to bypass revision on 11/29/2021. The first day and the second day in the hospital I had a GERD episode. It’s still early postop but I haven’t felt it anymore. I pray it’s all fixed. That was the reason for the surgery. -

Stinging pain in my left side after surgery - eating too much?
lljenkins replied to JoyLilith's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I also had my surgery 11/29 and I get left side pains as well. They are not usually from the external incisions but the ones inside. I think the pain comes during certain movements or body positioning. It doesn’t have anything to do with food as you should not be eating at this stage - only drinking. I hope you feel better soon. -

Blerdgirl I totally understand but this is a forum to be able to voice concerns and receive support. It is not necessary for everyone to post to everything someone else writes especially if it's not Supportive or encouraging. If you are not on here for support either get off or just don't comment. I'm done!
-
Jeez Ann! The last time I checked this was a support site. If you have to be more negative please do not comment on anything I write. You don't know me nor what I have been thru. Everyone has a story and just because you don't agree does not give you a right to have the attitude you have. Again, this is a support site and if you can't do just that please get off the site. This also goes to the rest of you who wanted to be sarcastic and rude. For the ones who actually had encouraging remarks- thank you very much. It's what I needed and what most people come to a support site for.

I was sleeved December 8th. Tomorrow, Monday will be exactly two weeks. I have only lost 14 pounds. Everyone that I read about on here has lost much more and I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I really don't eat at all. I drink but not the recommended amount. At least 30oz of water. It is so hard to drink 64 Oz of water. My weight at the time of surgery was 273. I am 259 now. I thank God for the loss of the 14 pounds but shouldn't I have lost more by now? Btw. I ended up in E.R. two days ago because I hadn't had a bowel movement since a week before surgery. That has been taken care of so I don't know what the problem is. I have even been walking. Please help!

Smooth moves tea is the best. I have tried so many other things that really cramp my stomach and still can't use the bathroom. The tea is the only thing that I have found that really works without cramping. Drink lots of water.

Sleeved December 8th. Doing well. Still a little sore. Ready to actually eat. I don't think I am hydrated enough. It's really hard to sip all day. -
Sleeved 12/8. I did not have to do a pre-diet. Never heard of it.
-
Surgery is scheduled for 12/8 - Yea!

I was sleeved on December 8th. Still very sore and trying hard not to get dehydrated but I am so excited that I had it done.
