Hi. I'm Shannon and I have been overweight most of my life. I'm 43 with 3 kids and I want a better life. I weigh 250 pounds which is the most I ever weighed. I am hoping to gain support through this forum as I begin this scary journey. I have filled out all the paperwork.. I meet with my surgeon and dietitian on 12/18/14. I then have to have an Endoscopy. I picked up my insurance at work, which goes into effect 1/1/15. My husband's insurance will now be secondary. Through my insurance, there is no waiting period, so the lady I spoke to said I could be having my sleeve in January or February. I would greatly appreciate any advice.
