Bariatric Advantage Nectar Protein
LisaLouBop replied to tissiegirl's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Www.si03.com. Syntrax Nectar, I bought samples there, it was a package of 10 or 12 different ones. You really have to look for it though, NOT an easy website to navigate. -
I'm one month post op and have found myself HUNGRY a whole lot as well. What I've found is that I didn't do the basics. I hadn't had enough Fluid in between meals. I drank too soon or during my meal. I'm averaging about 500 to 700 calories a day now. I log EVERYTHING in my fitness pal, so it's easy for me to keep track. I seem to be learning "learning the hard way" on so many things. I eat too fast and pay the price and turn around and do it again two days later. <sigh>

They kind of remind me of tapioca pudding after they swell. I've purchased the light colored seeds, just in case my tooth brush wasn't close by. The taste is unremarkable.

Same problem here, I really have to concentrate. I've even used that app, Eat Slower. It does help. -
Weight loss after sleeve?
LisaLouBop replied to Skywalker's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I also had surgery on 12/17, and have lost 17 lbs. I'm doing everything I'm suppose to do as far as diet and exercise. Staying patient, staying on plan, and doing my best to shrug off the silly worries that roll through my brain. -

Post op help needed - hunger
LisaLouBop replied to bobbyswife's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my first soft meal last night, it was AMAZING!!!!! As simple as it was (egg beaters with a little cottage cheese), I ate a little too much too fast, and paid the uncomfortable price of doing that. But I got over it and later on I had the best nights sleep in quite a while. Never woke up hungry once. -
The isopure is awesome. It helped me through pre-op and now 3 weeks post-op. My favorite is the grape.

Post op help needed - hunger
LisaLouBop replied to bobbyswife's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgery was Dec 17th, and I'm very hungry, especially in the evening. I've been only on protien shakes and liquids up until now and I'm hoping that the next stage - soft diet will help me stave off the hunger. -
Tomorrow is my day, what a Christmas present this is. I had to pack last night, even though I searched these forums and found out what I needed, I think I still over packed. I'm busying myself with silly things at work and not thinking about my last day on this pre-op diet. Just pushing as much Fluid as possible so my veins are easier to find. LisaLou

My date is the same, December 17. I'm so excited. I also have all my shakes, vitamins and logs ready to go.
