I'm a 52 year old male with 4 year old son. For my entire adult life I have been a serial dieter and carried around an excess 50-60 pounds with a current BMI of 31.5. I additionally have arthritus, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc. In the past year I have seen two overweight friends in their 40's-50's have massive strokes and that is the last thing I want. I'm a great dad but I want to be a super active dad and I can't do that while obese. So, I'm seriously considering self pay VSG in Mexico.
