I felt good. I walked on treadmill a couple of times that 1st week. I am really surprised how good I have felt. I feel a bit weak, but without any carbs that is the way it is. -

I had surgery on 12/23 and am down 15 lbs. YaHoo ! -
I am 7 days post surgery and have not pooped yet. I started miralax, Colace caps and dulcelax suppositories. I fart all the time but it stops at that. I hope something happens soon !

I had a Hiatel Hernia the size of a small melon, my surgeon said the sleeve took 30 minutes but the hernia took 2 hours. I am so happy it fixed it for me !

Struggling with not eating post op

I am 5 days out. I am also on full liquids but it does not include cottage cheese. My kingdom for some cottage cheese ! I have been living on cream of chicken soup with protein, milk and curry. The other thing that is working for me is plain Kiefer with fake sugar and a dash of Mio flavor. 1/2 cup at a time does not seem like enough. I can do 1/2 cup easy. -
Why don't more people use Genepro?

I had my surgery this morning. I am feeling great ! Dr said I had a large hiatal hernia about the size of a small melon. He fixed it and said it was probably affecting my breathing. He also took out a large chunk of fat I that are as well. I am calling it free lipo. I have very little pain at this point. I am so glad I did this ! Also I lost 12 lbs on the one week liquid pre-op diet. -

I am on day 2 and the sweet protein shakes make me gag. I have been using genepro unflavored protein in chicken broth, blend it with the magic bullet and heat it in the wave. -
I am having my surgery on the 29th too ! I have been fighting with my weight for over 40 years. I am so excited and ready. I know it is scary but you can do this. I wish I would have done something in my 20s.
