@@Hetera , I am drinking Arbonne Chocolate with 2 teas Chia seeds and 1/2 of a banana. Sometimes I add a cup of vanilla Greek yogurt. It is really good and is doing the trick! Zero cravings, ZERO cheats so far and only 4 days to go! -

@@xoMonica it gets easier! I promise! The first 3 days are HELL! DO NOT CHEAT! No sugar no carbs! By day 4, it is easy-peasy. Really! I promise! And this is coming from a confirmed bread-chocolate-chip-candy-sugar- 4cups coffee a day-aholic!

First Day of Pre-Op! Anyone else?
mdlange replied to SimplySheavon's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 1 week 2 days into it. Let me tally, the first 3 days SUCK!! Sorry! But, after that, it is super easy! I have never once felt hungry. Seriously! I had a shake for breakfast and lunch, then a salad with tuna or chicken on it for supper. I had to remember to drink the lunch shake! I was totally not hungry. My nut suggested adding 2 teas chia seeds and 1/2 of a banana to each shake and it really helped. -

Great questions, great answers! I love my BP family! -
@@tiger1961 , when are you doing your bowel prep (taking the laxative)? You are scheduled for Monday, right? Just wondering. I have to fly to Mexico on the 3rd for my surgery on the 4th and do not want to be having diarrhea on the plane. Sorry about the TMI, but just getting a bit anxious about that part.

I am Feb. 4! Funny thing, I am dropping a ton of weight on the protein shakes! And I feel pretty good! My nut suggested adding chia seeds to my shakes and it really made the difference in keeping me full-feeling. Try it!

I am 1 full week into my pre-op diet and feel AMAZING! The first 3 days were total HELL, caffein-sugar-carb withdrawals and horrible! Headache, body aches, fatigue. Bad stuff. Day 4, it was like someone flipped a switch! And I haven't cheated a SINGLE TIME! ZERO! My nut suggested adding 2 tablespoons chia seeds and 1/2 of a banana to each protein shake and it really helps keep me full. Anyway, I am a week and a day out! Feb 4 seems so close, and so far at the same time! EEK! -
Seriously waiting to see the veterans responses to this one! I am currently packing my bags!

I have found that since day 3 of the protein shakes, I have ZERO cravings! It is amazing! I just watched my husband eat the last of the vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce, and, nope, I didn't want to cut his throat! It is amazing! So, basically, you do YOUR THING. Let him do HIS. It is your body you want to change, not his. Do what is right for you. Rely on yourself to make the changes. Would it be nice to live in a chocolate-carb-sugar-chip free home? YES! Is that a reality when there is a man in the house? NO! Try not to put too much of this burden on him, or anyone else. You are sure to be disappointed. Trust yourself. Your body will kick in and take over at some point. Now, I am not saying the first 3 sugar-caffeine-carb days were easy. Not saying that I didn't want to kill anyone that spoke to me. What I am saying is that it gets easier! Hang in there. We are all right here if you need us!

WOW! 14 days on only clear liquid! How do you keep from passing out?
