Happy to move on to the next step.....Finally received my date..Pre-op April 7th.. surgery date April 21st. -
After much moping around about my date... I am going to be greatful and appericate that I have a surgery date. 62 days until surgery.

Got my date. I thoguht i would be happy and excited, but I'm sad, bummed, blue... did this happen to anyone else? I thought id have surgery in March, seems how i was done with all my requirements in January... Nope, April 21st

So 23 views, no replays. lol Talked with my insurance my preauthorization was reviewed and their response was mailed out January 30th. So, it was 4-5 days to approve. My preauthorization was sent in 1/26 or 1/27. As of 2/4 GTS hadn't received the letter according to the program coordinator. So guessing by the 16th or the 23rd, I should find out my surgery date. Last night I had another dream. And this time I got a call from GTS and I needed to do a week of exercise class before my date would be scheduled. lol. For those interested, I'll keep ya posted.

I was never notified you replied to this... I really dislike those body washes, they dry me out so bad...... I hope I'm that lucky because I really don't want to do the bowel cleanse or the catheter. I think as long as you are getting the recommended Protein. I don't think it would be a problem to drink 2 extra drinks to replaced 2 meals. they probably have 3 meals so we are less likely to fail the pre-op.. I find it to be hard to only drink shakes.. and then smell food at dinner time. Takes a lot of control to eat right. You've been on pre-op for a week now? how is it doing. what did you end up doing to reach your protein goal? -
Wow! my insurance info was sent january 26th or 27th. insurance mailed letter to surgeon Jan 30th. Surgons office told me Feb 4th. They havent heard anything. ..anyways the approved my surgery in like 4 days!!

Had a dream last night the BP COORD called me to tell me i had to do a week of exercise class before they would schedule my surgery.

@ Have you looked into chair exercises online. Most don't require you to put to much pressure on your legs. There's a show that comes on PBS in the afternoons "Sit and Be Fit" . Sit and Be Fit also has some videos online.. Check it out. It might work for you. -

Got an email from my insurance. pre authorization is not required because it's inpatient and payable. so they are paying ? and it's a go?!?
