I'm stuck too.... I'm seven weeks out and losing about a half pound a day, so I'm happy. But food is no longer a happy event my favorite meal is a piece of cheese wrapped in a piece of lunch meat.

Anyone taking iron supplements? I've been on since before surgery but the chewable ones I am taking irritate my tummy so bad I can only take at bed. I could use some ideas on iron...

    Newbie here in Michigan

Surgery was February 16th got postponed in January due to illness. All is going well, not losing as quick as expected but getting 60~80 grams of protein and drinking 64~90 ounces of water a day. Looking for a good. "unflavored" protein powder. All ideas will help...

Progress is a whole lot slower than expected, weight wise. I'm down 20 since surgery on the 16th, down 47 since November 1st when I started my pre surgery diet. Other than that I'm healing very well all incisions are pretty well closed and glue fallen off. My blood pressure is down and I'm off my water pills, also off all diabetes medications. Have soo much more energy and my lung capacity is increasing every day. Getting in my protein and my water almost every day as well. Loving Premiere protein chocolate with 30 grams of protein in each drink.
  14. I sip virgin bloody Mary when out....

Omg have to be to the hospital for my surgery in less than 24 hours. Wow how the time has flew by (when I never thought it would get here) . Its been 18 years I've been looking into RNY and its almost finally here. Thanks to everyone for all the presurgical support and assistance. I'll update as soon as I can postop. We are having a family day today, going to a movie then swimming at an indoor pool, not sure if I'll make it back on later. See everyone on the losing side: )
