My name is Karen. I'm waiting for insurance to approve or deny my gastric sleeve surgery. I've been going to Dr Saurabh for 6 months. If I get insurance approval I will be going on a pre-op diet for 2 weeks to shrink my liver before surgery. I'm a RN and the hospital I work at just started this bariatric surgery program 6 months ago. It takes 6 months of visits to get to the insurance approval stage. They told me today I'm going to be the first surgery if I'm approved.
