    Losing weight slow

Surgery was October 17 th lost 15 lb before and 15 after. It's slower then molasses!!! My husband is a fitness guru and very into pumping iron and putting good fuel into his body. I finally decided to listen to him this week it only took 30 years and he said it's all about protein. Proteins r the only way to lose weight. So I am testing it and keeping track of this new life change. Im tired of failing the weight lose nightmare. I fired the nutritionist because she called me a drama queen for having a lot of pain after surgery not to mention her draw was full of Nutella and dunkin donuts. Skinny b-otch don't know about abdominal surgery I guess and struggles. Keep track of protein and try to get 60 grams a day. Good luck

    Uhhhhhhhhhh,,,,, Hellloooooo!

I got sleeved October 17 th by dr Sadak in robertwood Johnson hospital. He was the one who founded all the bariatric surgery. He comes highly recommended. I do regret my sleeve so far because I'm having a slow recovery and cant tolerate meat. I'm sick of yogurt!!!! And shakes!!!! My stomach burns from to much milk product but I'm not milk intolerant. I was told it would get better. I can't wait. Also tired as heck and can't tolerate my liquid vitamins. Anyone feel crappy like me???

    Need help with food ideas

Quest bars r gross. I'm tired of yogurt and shakes too. I'm trying to get down meat protein but it's still a challenge. I'm doing the Greek yogurt with protein mix and slim fast bars. Try progresso soups and peanuts and almonds. Not together of course. I just pick all day on any protein I can get my hands on. Eat slow very slow. Takes me 1.5 to 2 hours to get meat protein in. I keep it the table and pick pick pick . Whatever works. Good luck

Heading back to ER again, prayers please

I hope your ok. Let us know what's going on. I had to go back to hosp too because I couldn't breathe. I found out my diaphragm was stretched and it just had to heal. I'm ok now but you worry me. Please take care and eat correctly. I was sleeved October 17 and still having issues with eating meat. We got to eat slow and chew chew chew. God bless

    I want to punch things!

We all don't want to b on pre op diet. It sucks!! I did however lose 15 lbs before surgery. What helped for me was knowing I went through a lot of testing and bullpoop with my insurance company to get where I was going. I was not going to wake up from surgery and the doctor say we couldn't do it because we can't get to your stomach because you didn't shrink your liver enough. The reason why they need u to lose weight is so your liver shrinks. Then they can get to your stomach with less issues. Good luck. Ps tell your husband to b supportive or move on
