Thanks for sharing. I am going to try GENEPRO. I've been using unjury but I can still taste it and it's not as much Protein and seems to be more expensive. Love Amazon Prime as it should be here in 2 days. ~LA

I've always believed as long as your on track 90% of the time you have another 10% for those times you need it. Enjoy it and move on... ~LA -
I'm So Depressed! Weight Loss is So Slow!
SeahawksFan replied to sukik's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am 5.5 weeks out and have lost 16 lbs since surgery. I too started at a low BMI. But I also lost 10 lbs the two weeks prior on the low carb diet. Of course I would love to be lower but I am over half way to my goal and I know it's going to be slower the closer I get. I am doing cardio and yoga 6 days a week as the doctor hasn't cleared me for weights yet. If you ever want to email or chat since we're so close on dates let me know. I also know that around 3 weeks I only lost 1 lbs that week so I was pretty bummed but I came on here and read about the 3 week stall and it made me feel sooooo much better. Happy Holiday you got this!! LA -

Do you tell people you had Weight Loss Surgery?
SeahawksFan replied to nolongerhere's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My husband and BF are the only 2 people that know I had the surgery done. My BMI was around 30 but I have always been a yo yo dieter so I did this to lose the weight for good and didn't want to hear from everyone that I didn't need to do it. Usually I am a totally open person about everything but for once I've decided to do something for me. Like some of the others I will just say I am eating smaller sizes of Protein and produce. I have always exercised so that's not really changed. I could just never out run my fork. Good luck to everyone- LA -
I am sorry that would be really frustrating. I paid for my surgery so I didn't have to deal with any of that but I will say the preop diet was harder than eating afterwards. At least afterwards your not starving. I hope you get a solid date soon. Good luck- LA

My husband and kids got it the week I had my surgery and I seriously made them all stay out of my room I was so scared to get it. Surprisingly I didn't so I hope you don't.

Split pea soup has a lot of protein in it as well. One can lasted me 5 meals. -
I have had issues with Isopure no matter what I do. Drink it slow or add Water. It just doesn't agree with my stomach and that totally bums me out because I bought the grape and fruit punch in bulk on Amazon so I took it to my surgeons office so they could give it to someone who could use it. I have had no other issues with any other food or drink since my surgery. Good luck- LA
