Here's a good pair of shoes for a pin up style. I hope they still have them available when I can finally wear them! http://www.victoriantradingco.com/item/2519349/103104/retro-rosie-heels

I'm really big into vintage hair and make up, so when I've lost the excess weight, I plan to start dressing in 40s/50s vintage styles. I have a folder of internet bookmarks on my computer just of vintage fashions, and I can't wait to get dressed up. I especially want to be able to wear Bettie Page heels!

Waiting waiting waiting...
orionova replied to anaxila's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congratulations on graduating! Your parents may surprise you with their reactions. I was certain mine were going to try to talk me out of surgery, but they told me they had been worried about me, and were glad I was taking this route. Your mom may very well surprise you. If not, show here these forums so she can read the success stories of the people here. That may relieve her anxiety. I hope your phone rings with good news soon! -
Some of you here my have heard about a series of shootings in north central West Virginia today. One of them was quite near my house. The first I heard about it was when I received an automated phone call from the county board of education, stating that all schools in the county were on lock down due to an active shooter in the community, and that the students and staff were safe. My son is a junior at one of the local high schools. My son had an appointment to get his flu shot after school, and I seriously considered not taking him. Students were allowed to leave school at the usual time, and I met my son at the health center where his pediatrician is located. There were more police in the area than I have ever seen. Even more than when President Bush was in town several years ago. It was actually reassuring to see them, but I made sure to lock up everything tight as soon as we got home. I eamailed my ex-husband to let him know what had happened and that Xander was safe. He lives in another country, but I was afraid he might see about it online and worry. As far as I know, the man wanted for the murders is still on the run. I'll be sleeping with one eye open tonight, and startling at every creak.

The suspect has been found, dead. I think I can get some sleep now.

UnJury protein... is it any good?
orionova replied to JenWith's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I ordered a sample pack from Unjury, and got an email a little bit ago that it is being delivered on Wednesday. I like getting samples of the various protein powders. I have to say, of all I've tried so far, the best I've found has been the Syntrax Nectars. The samples of Unjury may change that, however, if it's as good as I've heard. The sample comes with two sachets of each flavour, a shaker bottle, and a food thermometer. If I don't like it? I'm not out too much. -
I recently got a new Note 4, and I am loving the fitness apps it comes with, but I have a problem with the exercise app. It only shows four exercises: walking, running, hiking, and cycling. I swim as my exercise, and I have found no way to add that. Does anyone who has one know how to either add a new exercise, or how to add calories burned? My physical therapist worked out how many calories I burn each time.

I love my Note 4! I'll probably just buy a wearable to sync with it, since I've not had any luck adding anything to the exercises. I love the food tracker. I used to use My Fitness Pal, but having the app built in is handy. But even without the fitness tracker, I'd still be very happy with the phone.
