Great job on your weight loss...............don't let anyone discourage you. I had my surgury done on my Bday Nov 20, 2007 and I am down 47 pounds and extremely proud of myself. Any weight loss is good weight loss..............Keep up the good work. :smile2:

Hi, I am also a Michigander and I had my lapband surgery on Nov 20, 2007. As of today I have lost 23lbs and have felt good and do not regret at all having the Lapband. I do understand it is a slow process for weight loss but that's ok by me. Please keep me updated on your process for the lapband. -
I had my surgury on Nov 20, 2007 and on December 13th I was on my way to Mexico for 3 weeks (five hour plane ride), didn't have any issues the only hard part was being so limited on what I could eat.

HI everyone I was banded November 20th and feel great. I was very surprised to feel no pain or discomfort, my roommate at the hospital told me she envied me for being able to get around with no problem. Currently trying to be creative with the liquid diet but no much to be creative with.
