  3. 4 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 4th Anniversary MOTOMOM!

  4. Hi Ed, Yes you should have some bruising and it will hurt for a few days. Think about it, they cut through your skin to get to your guts, this will take a week or so to heal. It is a small but deep cut so depending on your pain tolerence it will be tender to move these entry points. Put a pillow on your tummy and hold it tight with one hand, put your other hand behind your opposite knee and help yourself up, it will help alot. Good luck to you hope you feel better soon.

    I want a soda pop!

I was a major diet pepsi addict, 1-3 44oz a day. I can't stand the flavor of it now. And yes I did try to drink it, it just isn't the same, don't crave it anymore after I tried it. I am a huge water drinker now. I am also enjoying the money I save each month now that I am no longer addicted.

Heidi, Don't sweat it. You still ate protien, and a little mac n' cheese won't kill you. Don't beat yourself up. You still watched what you ate and did not over indulge, make today a new day and get back to it. Lisa

:thumbup:U GO GIRL:thumbup: Let us know how u do!!!
  9. change up your excercise, mess with your protien intake, write down what you are eating, making sure not to go over what calories you want to. It is easy to go over without meaning to without writing it down. I was banded in Nov o7 and have had quite a few stalls. I am at 47lbs and just keep plugging away. Hang in there your plateau will pass with patience.
  10. You have lost 30lbs, congrats, keep up the good work it will come, when it is ready to come off. Hang in there with the job and focus on the support not the harsh remarks. You are in control, you can do it.

Hi Heidi, So glad you have been approved how exciting. I was banded Nov 11 and have lost almost 50lbs. I am so glad I made this decision. It is not as life altering as you would think. I am not missing out on anything. Doing more things to be exact. Very, very happy with my decision and not looking back ever! Lisa
