You look wonderful!! Congrats! I will be 5 weeks post op Friday 19th. How much have you lost at 5 months? I can't wait till I feel like going to the gym. I just still get so tired. -
I am struggling so much trying to get my 64oz of fluids in and 60 grams of protein. I am still struggling with constipation too. I feel like I need to go back to drinking my shakes for my meals but that literally makes me want to cry. I am 3 weeks post op. Is anyone else struggling with this? ????

I sleeved on 11/14 and I too am struggling with constipation???? I never had this trouble before so this is so foreign. I have lower back pain mostly and feel bloated some but when I go to the bathroom I don't always feel this incredible urge to go. Is that weird? It's been several days so I know it can't be normal. I have been trying miralax and benifiber but haven't ever taken colace. My friend told me about probiotics and there is a chewable one but she isn't a WLS patient so wasn't sure if I could take that this early on. Also, I am struggling getting my 64oz of water in.???? I stay so thirsty but it takes so long to just drink one 8 oz cup. Does it get easier as time goes by?

Thanks everyone!! I just need to keep trying and not be discouraged. I am trying walking but will be glad when I can actually workout. I am still a little tender when I bend and I get so exhausted just going to the grocery store at times. It is so nice to have all of you to lean on???? I still grieve wanting to eat but I am being strong and resisting. Just a lil truth????

@claudia2103 Thanks for your help. I will try that at bedtime. I would love to get relief in the morning. Is Metamucil and benifiber similar? You are such an inspiration with your weight loss!! Congrats!! I can't wait to be there!! What do you eat during the day for your meals?

@@BLERDgirl my dr had me take miralax but I have had no luck. I am trying to add benifiber to my shakes to see if that helps. Also I took senecot two days in a row and nothing yet, that was four days ago.???? I was afraid to continue because I didn't know if it would upset my sleeve. Is colace similar to senecot?

I am struggling a bit. I am a few days over 2 weeks post op and I am having a hard time with using the bathroom. Is this normal? Also, I struggle to get in my water daily? Any tips to share?
