starving twins lol .... thanks for the popsicle advice...i hadnt gotten them yet since i really love ice cream and i dont know a popsicle will do it for me..ugh..... i too had the insurance red tape .... 6 months of diet and weigh ins monthly with reg dr... now the only worry i have is....getting through thanksgiving day... i am cooking...because i love my family.... its hard not to eat..but i'm doing it!!!... let me know about ur progress... its nice to have a same date person to talk with..oh...and one thing that helps me is the before and after pixs on here....i sip my broth and dream of my day lol.......good luck!!!:heh::clap2: i will be thin i will be thin...

sades you are so lucky...can i ask why no pre op diet... i'm on day 5...better now but ugh i'm hungry sometimes.....i feel better now that all the sugar is out of my body...that helps...i was a 6pack of coke a day girl...anyway...gl to all...:faint:

:)It's a mind game like any other addiction... we are addicted to food... i am being banded on nov 28th and am very scared of my own mind...i love food i love to eat...not for hunger but because it tastes so good... you have to pray everyday to fight that urge...i'm on day 4 of my liquid pre-op diet and fight minute by minute...but i want whats best and healthiest for me.... i'll be scared to eat too fast afterwards....i'm reading too many bad stories....just take it easy....on hour at a time if you have to... you can do it...you made it this far....its 8 months of drs and insurance hoola hoops to jump through for me....hopefully the rest is just smooth sailing and good news....

omg.... that is my favorite quote.. and i can so relate to ur story... i'm being banded on nov 28th... i think i got used to being the fattest wife and fattest mom and fattest co worker.... i'm almost scared to fail because so many ppl are behind me i want to make them happy....but this is JUST FOR ME!!! I am having my surgery Nov 28th....I too am a nervous wreck even though i know its the right thing and time for me to do something positive....my son's ring night was in April 07..ugh that pic....i dont plan to look like that for graduation in May 08...or at least not as bad!!! thats motivation!!!!

I have surgery on the 28th and am glad to find you few ppl that still seem happy about ur surgery. I was getting scared that it wouldnt work...i'm on day 3 of my liquid pre op diet and i have to tell ppl....the french vanilla slim fast is great....dont waste money on the equate generic brand its not good.....anyway i'm hungry but hopeful because i'm ready for a new start....
