My Dr. recomends the carnation instant breakfast drinks if you can't stomach the other protien shakes. They are not that low in protien and you will only need them until you start on foods.

Hi Just banded on Tuesday, when do the bandages fall off? Do we take them off? Should we re bandage them? Do we put any ointment on them? Thanks :help:

How much water did everyone drink the first few days after surgery. They said to sip water all day long, but today is day one at home at I can't get much down.

My surgery is tomorrow also... Good Luck to you! Why can't you eat after 430, I can eat anything I want till midninght tonight and my mushy foods start after 6 or 7 days.. I wonder why Dr's do things so diferently
