I am 16 days out from my gastric sleeve surgery on December 19. I start my 2 week liquid diet in two days, and I will start freaking out in about a week. I am older than many of you who have had or are about to have the surgery - 68. I plan to retire next December and the surgery is my first step in a journey to a new life. I would love to hear from those of you who had the surgery when you were older. Do you think it was more difficult? How did you change a lifetime of bad habits? How are you feeling now?
