    6 weeks out. Recently I went 8 days without a bowel movement. My doctor said it was ok take Miralax everyday. Day 3 now and still not regular! Frustrating!

    I am so relating to this post! I was sleeved on dec 8th and lost 23 pounds quickly. I now haven't lost anything in 2 weeks. I have been taking thyroid mess for 5 years. I easily get my water and protein in.i walk between 2 and 5 miles a day. Frustrated!!!!!

    Help! I am one week out from surgery and today my protein shake is making me gag! I am using isopure Dutch chocolate. It is way too sweet. Can't do the strawberry at all. It is even sweeter! Please veterans, what are some good tasting protein drinks! I am generally not a picky person!

    I had that also in my arms and hands. It will go away quickly. It's from moving your body with your hands and arms instead of your core while you were in the hospitable bed.

    I am day 5 post op. Feeling fabulous this morning! Can't wait for the new me to come out!

      My daughter is much better. I stayed with my parents until she was over the flu. She and my husband washed all the sheets, lysoled the house and gave everyone new toothbrushes. They even gave the dog a bath! I should be safe.

      So happy to hear that you are recovering well. I did not know that everyone needs to change toothbrushes or house needs to be lysoled? It sounds like a great idea. Did you doctor tell you to do that?

      Oh, no, no, no..... my daughter came down with the stomach flu the day I was in surgery and it lasted a couple of days. That is the reason for the deep clean! :)

    Three days out. My only reaL pain is sore arms. They feel like I have worked out for hours very achy. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Anyone else have surgery on the 8th? I would love to have a surgery partner. I am so scared right now. My mother knows 2 people personally who died from bypass, 10-15 years ago. I didn't tell her until last weekend because I knew that she would be negative. I am 52 years old and want to live to see my grandchildren. I need to stop reading the internet and seeing horror stories! My husband, children, and best friend are supportive. I know she is scared for me, but I really need to be positive right now.

    I am getting so nervous! I get my call today on the time for Monday. I have now lost only 1.2 pounds on the liver shrinking diet! This is why I am getting this surgery! My metabolism is 0! I really hope this works! Debbie, I haven't received your facebook invite yet. Looking for it. I am excited to have someone to go through this with. Do you want to be with us Hobecat?

    Debbie, I don't start liquids until Saturday. I am new to this site as of today and am just learning to navigate. I am on Facebook. My name is Sheryl Van Raden Borcherding. How long are you on liquids? I am just for 2 days. I am and have been on a 1200 calorie diet for the last two weeks. I have not cheated once, but only lost 4 pounds. That is my life story. Diets no longer work for me. I am just praying that the sleeve does. Where are you located? I am on sometimes during the day, but most nights at about 7 central time, give or take.
