What can I eat instead of cake after 1 month post-op?
jmccape replied to Luna Patricia Del Rosario's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My birthday is the 28th and I will be two days shy of four weeks out so I am watching this post carefully. My family wants to go out to dinner and I have no idea what to order. -
That's not one I've tried yet thanks for the information. My favorite is Syntrax double stuff cookie. It tastes like crushed up Oreos it's really good.

Still very sore 10 days post op
jmccape replied to Jen128's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I took my pain medication for 12 days. I was able to sleep around the same time I stopped taking them. It gets better I promise hang in there! -
Sleeved February 2 and feeling so-so. All I can eat is cheesy potato soup from Bob Evans and red Jell-O. I tried the ricotta bake and it made me throw up both times. At this stage I'm allowed to eat mushies but I'm scared to try anything else. I do drink three protein shakes a day one at about 5:30 AM the second one at about 11 AM and the third one at about 3 PM. I usually can take my vitamins and supplements except for those days when I was nauseous from the ricotta bake. I am going to try to send you a private message about the Facebook group but I'm not sure I know how.

I had left arm pain for two whole weeks. I don't think it was just gas pain. It felt like they must of had my arm turned a funny way during surgery or something for the 2 1/2 hours it really hurt.

Saltines are on my approved list beginning at three weeks they are paired with tuna on the list. My three weeks is on Monday so I may or may not try them we will see how it goes.

I can't remember the last time I weighed under 200 pounds but I am so very excited this morning! This last two weeks has been grueling but the weight is definitely coming off. I have actually been feeling better the last two days so hopefully the worst part is over now. I just wanted to share my good news! I hope everyone has a good day.

Good luck! -
I am one week postop and I am having a very hard time getting on a meal and protein drink schedule. So far I've just been able to tolerate Jell-O and only a couple of days have I been able to get down all three protein drinks. I'm wondering what works for everyone else as far as approximately what time you eat and what time you drink a shake. Thanks so much.

I'm sorry that you're going through this. I hope you feel better soon. I wish I had better words of wisdom but I'm not doing so great myself.
